The route

An alley in Vista del Rey, beside a corpse. Picking it up starts Machine Gun. Use it until its kill count dialogue runs out, then decide whether to keep it or hand it to Regina. Hand it over and she can give it back later, deactivated, for the wall.
Confirmed by published guides, not yet by Vaexil. Nobody here has walked this one in game, so take it as a strong lead rather than a promise. Cross-checked against CD PROJEKT RED patch notes, VULKK, and the Cyberpunk Wiki, for patch 2.31 with Phantom Liberty.
